Delphine Cummings writes vivid, emotionally charged fiction for readers who want beauty, tension, and stories that matter.
Her work ranges from literary and historical fiction to creative memoir, science fiction, and children’s books, but at the heart of it all is the same aim: to tell compelling human stories with strong characters, high stakes, and carefully crafted prose.
After earning a degree in Creative Writing in 2009, Delphine committed herself fully to the written word. Since then, she has continued to learn, refine, and deepen her craft through years of serious work and multiple professional edits. She now has five fully edited books ready for publication.
Her current focus is a science fiction duology, The AusumX Mission and The Xylaris Cure—two novels that combine a deadly virus, a wormhole to an alien world, corporate power struggles, survival, and a race for humanity’s future. These are fast-moving, character-driven stories written with both emotional depth and cinematic sweep.
Alongside the duology, Delphine has completed additional books with a more specialized readership, including a creative memoir and literary fiction. Together, her work reflects a belief that fiction should not only entertain, but move, unsettle, and stay with the reader long after the final page.
She is currently seeking literary representation and publication opportunities.
